Mission Statement

Founded in 2022, the CH Wofford Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing the next generation of young leaders. Our guiding principle is that we believe the athletic field is a powerful training ground where students build resilience and develop teamwork and leadership skills.

The Foundation was created out of Chris Wofford’s passion to give back to communities across the state of Massachusetts, where he grew up. The board of the Foundation is composed of individuals that had a big impact on Chris’ life, are successful professionals and athletes, and are committed to helping children in need, particularly during adolescence. Our goal is to keep students motivated through critical transitions and help promising athletes rise to the challenge of higher education.

We focus on two initiatives:

• Supporting after-school programs that keep middle and high school students engaged

• Providing merit-based scholarships for high school athletes with the talent to play in college but without the financial means
